Movie Mondays!

Thinking man’s scifi. Primer is a perfect example of what makes a successful film: story. It’s not the kind of movie with big explosions or lots of action but the implications in the plot are terrifying. If you had a time machine and could only move one way in time (backwards) how could you resist the temptation to venture to the past to “get it right” — at what point would you stop? I was reminded somewhat of Memento by the way the movie is layered and how deeply the story is threaded together. It’s a movie that demands your full attention but it is well worth a watch and as mentioned elsewhere rewards viewers with repeated screenings because of the complexity of the story.

I’m repurposing content by taking my NetFlix reviews and posting them here on the blog. If I could figure out a way to do it, I’d post some kind of link for people to connect and make me their friend on the service. Unfortunately, it isn’t altogether clear how one would do that - so if you know a way, pass it along. In the meantime, I’ve got steady content for at least a year.
